Will the time ever come when we realize the evil and foolishness of furthur messing around in the Middle East? From the start of the Crusades a thousand years ago, and on through European colonialism in the 19th and 20th centurys, we have fanned the flames of war and hatred until we find ourselves mired in the muck of an untennable situation.
Dubya says that they hate us because of our freedom. HOGWASH!! They hate us because of our military and political interference in their countries.
True stupidity can be measured by the inability to learn from experience. You put your hand in the fire and get burned. You put your hand in the fire again and get burned again.
