Speaking as one who worked many years in the field of building infrastructure maintenance and repair, no surprise here. The great minds of the management class believe that " The low bid is the best bid", and "Don't be a creep. do the job cheap". For this, they get the pay raises, great benefits, and luxurious retirememnt. When failure occurs, guess who get the blame. Right! The poor folks who labored to maintain the mess they were handed. :When will they ever learn-------------"?

MITT THE SEVERE?

I heard Mitt Romney refer to himself as "severely conservative". I would prefer a politician that is severely principled.
It has been wisely said that "politics is the art of the possible", Mitt probably never heard this piece of wisdom, or of the wise man, Otto von Bismarck, who said it. What a sad sack Mitt is. Wasting his Daddy's money on a vain quest.
Go home Mitt. Your dog is calling.

TREES

Disgraceful! In Los Angeles they are cutting down 100's of trees to move a piece of space junk from one location to another. Couldn't they just remove the wings for the move?
I thought of the poem by Joyce Kilmer. Below are two lines from the poem TREES. Appropriate!

Mitt Romney is the spoiled son of a wealthy father. If it wasn't for that fact, he would probably be selling used cars to poor suckers who are easily taken adventage of. No used cars here, but lots of suckers who will buy the sucker bait that Mitzi is spreading about.

The political dermagougery leading up to the next election will be by far the worst in memory. How very sad it is. It's just about time that Mitt Romney grew a square black mustache.

The far right birthers are raving again about Obama's birthplace. Rational evidence in the form of a birth certificate from Hawaii proves he is a citizen. The looney tuners nsist he was born in Africa, and therefore is not elegible to be President.

Here is what it is all about. Obama is a Damocrat. and is bi-racial. Half Caucasian and half African. The righties hate Democrats and nig---s.
Obama has the upper hand. He is the President and is many time smarter that these silly s--t for brains.

Mitt Romney is a pitiful sadsack. He's too stupid to realizr that if he ran a rational and civilized campaign he would have a much better chance of winning. But, he's not smart. He may not even be smart enough to avoid falling off the edge of the flat Earth. Bye=bye Mitt, and good riddance.

On various tv news and current events commentary, I hear many of the commentators speaking scornfully about "politics". I would like to remind them of some wisdom from the past.
The words of Otto von Bismarck: "Politics is the art of the possible". My words to follow the wisdom of von Bismarck: The breakdown of politics leads to trouble, strife and war. Do not denigrate "politics". However, you may denigrate bad politicians.

If Mitt Rmney wins the election, withinn a year if taking office, he will start a war.

I AM A DEMOCRAT

Serious thought and introspection has caused me to understand why I am a Democrat. I remember World War Two. I remember the Nazi Party. I remember Adolf Hitler. I remember the War and the horror of the War. I remember the end of the War and the hope for peace. True peace never came. Those of the far right never seemed to really want peace. Sometimes advocating  peace was charterized as near traitorus. Especally during the Vietnam era. Why do those that claim to love Jesus, the Prince of Peace, seem to hate peace? The mysteries of life go on and on. The solution for these mysteries is always just over the horizon.
Will we ever learn?

BUBBA the GREAT

Bill Clinton addressed the Democratic Convntion last night. As usual, when it comes to political "speechifying" , he is at the top. If he could run for President again, he would win. Of that I am sure. "Bubba" is a man of the people, and I am one of his people. Long live Bubba!
