I have long contended that George W. Bush is a radical evangelical and his presidency is driven by his religious beliefs.
Seymour Hersh who may be the greatest living investigative reporter, has written an ominous article in the current NEW YORKER magazine concerning Bush, the war in Iraq, and the direction it may take between now and the 2006 election.
It's understandable why a vast number of Islamic people believe, rightly or wrongly, that we are engaged in a religious war against Islam, much as the Crusaders were pursuing 1000 years ago
