Afghanistan

I heard some "experts" discussing Afghanistan and is there any chance of success there. Some think the chance of improvement is slim to none and we should get out. I say get out and let those unhappy folks determine their fate. The Russians learned hard lessons,and so are we. Or are we? Are we back to "When will they ever learn?"
