I was asked if I was surprised by the outcome of the Sestak/Spector Senatorial primary in Pennsylvania. I replied:
"No, I don't think so. A turncoat often leaves people with a bad taste, even if he has supposedly turned your way. There's always the chance the turncoat turns again.
Interesting to see the big margin Specter started out with. Then you could see Sestak catching up at a rate that looked like a winner. Joe should have it made in the general."
Congratulatios to Joe Sestak. He's partway on his journey to be a senator. I believe that he will be able to handle the general election without serious problems. He's a smart man, has served his country well, and will continue to serve.
