THE LION IS DEAD

LONG LIVE THE LION

Teddy is gone, and his ambition for universal healthcare is unrealized. Is there anyone in Congress with the vision and guts to carry on the fight? Or are they all so deep into the pockets of the insurance companies that they will weaken the bill until it is nothing but a travesty of universal care. Is there anyone in the Senate with the cojones to carry the flag forward and bring United States healthcare up to world standard? Why do I have doubts?

Teddy's brother Jack wrote a book, PROFILES IN COURAGE. Teddy could be a chapter in the book. Is there anyone else in the Senate to carry the fight forward and earn themselves a chapter?

We will soon learn if we live in a Democracy or a Cashocracy. Do we have to replace the stars in the flag with this symbol? $
