SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST

In the decade leading up to the 1929 crash and the Great Depression, there were 100's, if not more than a thousand manufacturers of automobiles in the United States. The economics of depression weeded out the vast majority of these companies and only the fittest survived. Will this happen to the "Big Three"? They have been foolish in their design and manufacturing of cars that no longer fit the needs of the people. Should we, the people, pay for the stupidity of these fools?

The bird that couldn't learn to fly was eaten by the fox.
