The images of destruction, suffering and death coming from the earthquake in China remind one that mankind is a pathetic pipsqueak compared to the power of Mother Nature.
All of us, whether the powerful or powerless, rich or poor, should humble ourselves before this awful spectacle and realize that we could be next.
All that hold an office of power and prestige must understand that they, in the eyes of Mother Nature are no better than a peasant in poverty.
Believe this, and conduct yourselves accordingly,
