There is one reason and one reason only that the Catholic Church opposes birth control. LESS BODIES FOR THE CHURCH TO CONTROL. LESS MONEY FOR THE VATICAN. FEWER JEWELS IN THE POPE'S CROWN.
Get over it Catholic Church. If you TRULY believe that there is a GOD, and GOD is opposed to contraception, then GOD will manage the problem. HE,or SHE does not need your help.
One more thing; If you insist on women having children even if they are unable to care for them, are you going to step in and provide the funds to insure that the children are properly fed. clothed,schooled and housed? I doubt it.
Religion. BAH! HUMBUG!
