THE REASON FOR CONSTANT WAR

"In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist." Dwight D. Eisenhower, 1960

Do you wonder why proper healthcare for all citizens is probably impossible? The words of Eisenhower will help explain. We may well have reached the point where constant war is necessary to feed the voracious beast that is the "military-industrial complex". Unless citizens realize what is going on and rise up to smite the beast, we may be at war until our country is a moral and economic wreck.
The pages of history are littered with the bloody bones of war.
