Can Hillary capture the female vote? Can Barack nail down the black vote? Can Bill lift Hill over the top? Can Oprah carry Barack on her powerful shoulders to capture both black and white votes in sufficient numbers to win the nomination?
Here we have some of the most fascinating political questions in anyone's memory, no matter how far back that memory may go. And mine goes back to FDR vs. Wilkie in 1940.
If our next president is a white woman, or is a black man. it will be a most extraordinary historical event, the like of which has never been seen in our country.

I wouldn't mind a woman or a black man as president, but I sure hope (and pray) it's not Hillary or Obama.
