The wolf is at the door. For decades we have squandered our national resources on foolish foreign adventures, and now the neglect of critical domestic infrastructure is going to cause untold grief.
The Minneapolis bridge collapse is a clarion call to warn us of more impending disasters. "therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls" (John Donne). It tolls for each and everyone of us.
