I've been thinking about the plight of the poor whales stranded in the shipping channel. The experts are trying to lure them back toward the ocean with "whale talk", but it seems to drive them in the opposite of the desired direction.
Maybe they are going at this all wrong. Instead leading them with sounds, perhaps they need to be upstream from the whales and drive them with sounds.
To this end I suggest they broadcast old Bush speeches into the water. If this doesn't run them back to the ocean, then it's hopeless.
