The Desert
The Republican Party has been sent to wander in the desert of pain. They will find no solace. Their outlook is grim. The dunes of dispair impede their progress. The sandstorm of hate is blowing in their face. There is no spiritual oasis to cleanse their soul.

The election is finally over! A self-made man has succeeded beyond all expectations. A man born to wealth and privilege has failed. The good 'ol USA!
I think of Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Born to wealth and privilege, but did far more for the common man than any President before him. He may have been instrumental in helping to open the path for Barack Obama to rise to the top. I'm very happy that they were both Presidents of the United States in my lifetime.

VOTE
The Presidential election is a contest between a self-made man and a man who was handed the good life on a silver platter. When you vote, think about who is most likely to give care to the problems and aspirations of the common folk. Those born to wealth and privilege are rarely able to understand the dificulties encountered by those for whom life is a constant struggle.

REPUBLICAN PARTY IS ?
What is the Republican party now? I'm not sure, but it isn't the Republican party of Hoover, Dewey, Eisenhower, Nixon. Goldwater------etc. It has been taken over by a radical group that may be best characterized by the evil name NAZI.
They are a disgrace to their history, and a shame upon themselves. What can be done? If they continue to devolve into fascism and by some horrible circumstance gain Presidential and Congressional power, the great USA will become a cesspool of evil and our great Constitution will be nothing more than toilet paper.
They may be the greatest danger to the USA since Hitler and Tojo in WW2
