Dear Tesla
Keep up the good work. I believe that you are on the right track leading to the future of the automobile. The internal combustion engine is nearing the end of it's great life and new technology should take over.
Many years ago, I had 2 friends at work who had a great deal of expertise in the areas of auto mechanics and electrical theory. My expertise was in the area of elevator mechanics and electrical troubleshooting.
Our discussions concerning the future of the automobile led to a system very similar to the current Tesla engine.
We expected the internal combustion engine to die hard, and our expectation has proved to be correct. However, that day is coming thanks to you and your belief in a better automotive future.
Again I say, "Keep up the good work"!

Dear Jackie
Again I write about gun control. I own guns, but I do not belong to the church of the NRA and worship guns. A gun is a tool that can harm and kill, and needs to be regulated.

The words of the 2nd Amendment should be heeded. " well regulated" are the two words that must be obeyed by all. We need LEADERSHIP from our elected officials.

Chris is very much overweight, and most medical opinion will say that he is morbidly overweight. No one in that condition, be he Democrat or Republican will be able to manage the stress of being President of the United States without suffering some consequences.
There is more to it than that. There is the lack of self disipline in personal matters that may very well extend to the duties of office. Can we afford this? I think not.

Is this what we need? Is this what we want? Women in combat?  Well hooray for them. As for me, I see this as another step in the decline and fall of civilization. Will equality really make us all equal? Does equality mean the lowest common denominator? We need to search for the answer to this question. Time may be running short.
Although I profess to be an agnostic, I recognize the wisdom of much of The Bible. Below is some of that wisdom.
Matthew 5:9 9 "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God".
If there is to be peace on Earth, it may have to come from the efforts of the female of the species. They bear the children, and they must work to create the environment that provides safety and peace for the children.
The male of the species has done very poorly in this effort. We men must learn to do better.

THE HILL

The Capitol of the United States is often referred to as "The Hill". There are many hills. A very large mound of "materia scatalogica" could also be referred to as a hill.

GUNS AND CHILDREN

According to the NRA, guns are protected by the Constitution of the United States. Nothing in the Constitution about children being protected. Do we need a "Newtown" amendment? Does the NRA give a damn?

Antonio Villaraigosa

Antonio Villaraigosa, the Latino mayor of Los Angeles.

Barack Obama became the first African-American to become President of the United States. Will Mayor Villaraigosa become the first Latino-American to become President? Is the phrase, "All men are created equal-----" coming true?

I was born during the first term of FDR, one of the great men of the 20th century.
Years later, Jack Kennedy was elected President. Many thought that a Roman Catholic would never be President. Times changed.

The path for Obama was steep and difficult, but he persisted and overcame many obstacles. He has shown the way, Will Hillary Clinton benefit from Obama's struggle? She may. She should. Will Antonio follow her? He should.

Will we then have proof that all PEOPLE are created equal and can aspire to and gain high position, fame, and the love and respect of ther fellow citizens?

The time has come!
