The desperate Republicans are attempting to smear Obama, claiming he is a close associate of former "Weatherman" Bill Ayers. It is, of course, nonsense.
I'd like to make a point. The Repubbys are always pontificating about how religious they are. Here is how hypocritical they are. An important tenant of Christian theology is redemption. It would seem that Mr. Ayers has gone through the process and has overcome his past, however reprehensible it may be, and is now a productive member of the community.

The republican candidate for president in now sinking to character assasination of his opponent. By taking this downward direction, he reveals the true level of his character.
John McSwine is wallowing in the muck and filth of Rovian politics. and the voters need to punish him for these sins and all the sins of the past that have contributed to the economic and military disaster we are swamped by. He should have been ejected from the body politic when the Keating S and L mess came to a head.
