EXPERIENCE?

The Repubbys are hammering Obama for "lack of experience". Experience may not be all it's cracked up to be. For instance, what good is it if you don't know how to make use of it in a smart way?

I've spent many years in the workplace. In all those years, I've known and worked with people with lot's of "experience". Out of all those people, there were many whose experience served them well, and was an important aid in their ability to do a good job, and help others. They had knowledge and judgement.

On the other hand, I have known many people with years on the job who, to put it bluntly, couldn't find their ass with both hands. They could tell you when it was quitting time and when it was payday, but don't ask for more.

Obama may not have all the years of "experience" that his opponent has. However, he has brains and judgement, He has the rare ability to take in and analyze vast amounts of facts and data, and the judgement to act rationally based on his judgement.

I'm convinced that Obama has the potential to be a great President. I pray that I am right. We are in so much trouble.

DUBYA VOTES

The news says that Dubya voted for McCain. What ingratitude! I thought he would vote for Nader. After all, without Ralphie he never would have made it to the White House.

There is great naivete among the devotees of "free market" philosophy in their belief that people will always "do the right thing".
If their philosophy and belief system was correct, we wouldn't need police.

Politics and Clothing

Sarah P. is taking heat for spending Republican campaign money for fancy and pricey duds from very upscale clothiers.
As a old geezer who has memories of politics of many years past, I was reminded of "Dirty Dick" Nixon and his famous "Checkers" speech during the 1952 Presidential campaign.

I specifically remembered a portion of the speech concerning clothing and his wife Pat.

"Well, that's about it. That's what we have. And that's what we owe. It isn't very much. But Pat and I have the satisfaction that every dime that we've got is honestly ours. I should say this, that Pat doesn't have a mink coat. But she does have a respectable Republican cloth coat, and I always tell her she'd look good in anything."

Political junkies should read this. Not much changes.

THE EMPRESSES NEW CLOTHES

Is there an ethics question concerning campaign money being spent on expensive clothes for a candidate? I have no answer for that.

However, these is one thing I am sure of. Republican ethics is the ultimate oxymoron.

EXPERIENCE. WHAT IS IT WORTH?

The Repubbys are whining about Obama's supposed lack of experience. There's a lot more to this than experience.

The Repubbys team is a grumpy old man and a ditz from igloo land. The Demo's team is one of the smartest men to ever run for the office of President, with a running mate who is considered to be one of the most knowledgable foreign policy experts in the whole government.

Obama has the ability to study, learn and analyze far beyond the usual politician and/or "statesman", and I am positive he will NEVER be even a tiny fraction of the fool that currently occupies the Oval Office.

McCain may have many years of political experience, but lets be blunt. He is an old man and has chosen a person of very little experience in world affairs ( I know, she can see Russia from her back yard) as his running mate, who has not a clue about the world situation. The possibility that she may inherit the office is too frightening to contemplate.

Please! Don't endanger our country by voting for these people.

FOOLS CAMPAIGNING

CRYING WHINING YA BETCHA

WINKING AND GRUMBLING

SOCIALISM

McCain and company are making a big noise about Obama being a "socialist", because he wants to change the income tax rates to provide help for the lower income folks and make the rich pay their fair share.

McCain made a big deal about "suspending" his campaign to return to Washington and help push the "Wall Street Bailout" through Congress.

Tell me now, o great minds out there, why is "socialism" for the fat cats "a good thing", and help for the lesser of us "socialistic evil"? (I don't expect a rational answer)

OBAMA'S GRANDMOTHER

Barack Obama is suspending his campaign for 2 days this week to visit his ill Grandmother in Hawaii.
I can hear the Republican spin. "How do we know she's sick? This is probably a play for voter sympathy"
There's no way like the Rove way.

It may be that the only way to reform these people is to thoroughly defeat them nationally and locally. They would be forced to look into the evil of their ways and then reformers could take over. We need two properly functioning political partys to make the system work. It's broken now, and our country is in dire straits.

MORTGAGE THE FUTURE

The Repubbys prattle on endlessly about CUTTING TAXES, CUTTING TAXES, CUTTING TAXES,so on and so forth,ad infinitum,ad vomitorium.

How will they do this?

DEBT, DEBT, DEBT AND MORE DEBT. We are now close to $12 TRILLION. This number is so large as to be beyond comprehension.

Mortgage the future, inflict great pain upon those who follow us, and bring down the country. This is their plan, and they are either too stupid to understand it, or just plain don't give a damn. Take your choice. Either way, it's an evil plan.

LAST DEBATE, BYE BYE JOHNBOY

Regarding the final debate between Obama and McCain, my thoughts encapsulated.
McCain reminds me of a man going crazy trying to kill a fly when what he should be doing is repairing the screen door.

GUILT BY ASSOCIATION

The opposition is trying all kind of guilt by association tactics against Obama for the Bill Ayers business, ACORN, and anything they can dream up.
Lets just tell it like it is concerning McCain's associations. Johnboy has been associated with one of the worst and most subversive groups of all. These people have just about brought us to rack and ruin with their love of war and stupid economic policies.

YOU GUESSED IT. THE REPUBLICAN PARTY!

Blast him Barack!!!

"IT'S THE ECONOMY STUPID"

It has been said, by whom I don't know: "IF YOU WANT TO LIVE LIKE A REPUBLICAN, VOTE LIKE A DEMOCRAT".

We had 8 years of an improving economy during the Clinton administration. Under Bush and idiots, it has been a gathering storm culminating in market crash, declining economy and a foreign policy that has ruined us in the eyes of the rest of the world and left a debt that will beat us down for generations.
"The sins of the fathers shall be visited upon the children--------------".

What a vile legacy to leave for those who must follow us.

Barack Hussein Obama

Barack Hussein Obama

The nasty Repubbys are trying to make Obama look like some evil terrorist by emphasizing his middle name.

How about John Huunutz McCain? Sounds pretty close to the truth.

In the debate last night, he bumbled around looking like the old man that he is. I can say that because I'm older than John Huunutz. I know he is too old for the job.

A NEW SITE FOR HARDBLOG

aol has decided to drop their journal service, and has proveded this new service. SOMETHING NEW TO LEARN.

LIPSTICK

YOU CAN PUT LIPSTICK ON A PIG BUT IT STILL LOOKS LIKE SARAH.

THE TERRORIST

The desperate Republicans are attempting to smear Obama, claiming he is a close associate of former "Weatherman" Bill Ayers. It is, of course, nonsense.

I'd like to make a point. The Repubbys are always pontificating about how religious they are. Here is how hypocritical they are. An important tenant of Christian theology is redemption. It would seem that Mr. Ayers has gone through the process and has overcome his past, however reprehensible it may be, and is now a productive member of the community.

REPENT O YE HYPOCRITES AND REDEEM THYSELVES.

REPUBLICAN LOWLIFE

The republican candidate for president in now sinking to character assasination of his opponent. By taking this downward direction, he reveals the true level of his character.

John McSwine is wallowing in the muck and filth of Rovian politics. and the voters need to punish him for these sins and all the sins of the past that have contributed to the economic and military disaster we are swamped by. He should have been ejected from the body politic when the Keating S and L mess came to a head.

Put some lipstick on this political swine and send him and his piggy pal down the road to oblivion.

"Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall set ye free."

THE EVIL THAT MEN AND WOMEN DO

Since aol is going to dump this journal soon,I need to make some comments about the crook McKeating and his running mate the Slutty Sarah. McSame and his ilk have just about run the country into the ground, and if they get into office, they will run it 6 feet under.

http://www.keatingeconomics.com/

If these people should win, the keys to the White House will be given to the militeristic rich and powerful, and the rest of us will be ground under the boot of greed.

THINK ABOUT IT!!!!

A female Nixon

Listening to Sarah Palin reminded me of what they used to say about Richard Nixon. "Would you buy a used car from this man?" Or woman as the case may be.
